GRATITUDE MOMENTS -STRONG BONDS

I am nothing but only reflection of you”

Today sharing a beautifully expression of love by Pooja my sister.

It is heart warming and blessed MOMENTS for me when wishes are communicated with so much LOVE on my wedding anniversary.

Written by Pooja Bishno. A multidimensional personality, her enthusiasm and love for life has been a great motivator for people around her.

She’s our family’s doll
She loves one and all
Her stories take you places far away
I can listen to them all day
She’s artistic with her words
They bring things to life and give wings to birds
She gives such warm hugs
Doesn’t worry even if someone bugs
She’s small but her heart is not
In our lives warmth she has brought
Arun jijaji thank your stars
Hope you know how lucky you are
We wish you both years of bliss
In disagreement just settle with a kiss
It’s a lifetime of commitment you see
May by each other’s side you always be.

It matters What I think

My niece,  10 Standard student, participated in ‘On the spot’ competition held at school and her poem was a prize winner and got published in school magazine also.

As it was not planned, so definitely the spontaneous expressed views were from the sub-conscious.

When I read it, what struck me was the change in thought process. It is a voice aganist gender bias and a demand for equality. This is an indicator of better future for  women and a progressive society. When the questions are raised aganist injustice the future is definitely in safe hands.

30TH NOVEMBER – A Tribute

M

        Image from internet

One of the saddest day called Martyrs day (commemoration day)

The day nation remembers their heroes

Their sacrifices and their bravery

Defending the innocent lives of fellow beings

The young lives paying the price

For hate and anger of few negative individuals

Like everyone else in this world

They had dreams in their eyes

Some purposes to achieve

Some relationships to embrace

To love and be loved in return

Let’s Pray for the peace to prevail

May the thoughts be changed for better

May the world be a place to LET LIVE

May there be no Martyrs anywhere

Our youth contributing in progress

Spreading love and happiness

Through their ideas and innovation

Their hands holding prosperous future

Not the guns and ammunition to defend

My roaming Soul

M

Today it’s Quadrille at dVerse, with Mish hosting. The poem has to have exactly 44 words. The word that has to be included in the poem is “rock”.

Lying with my eyes close

Surrounded by the high rocks

Feeling the birds soaring high

Hearing music of quiet streams

Fresh Air kissing my hair

Magic unforgettable

Reality a harsh desert Sun

PRECIOUS MOMENTS – GRATITUDE

M

I am never lonely thanks to my friends :

The Stars

The Ocean

The Sky

The Sand

The Air

The River

The Trees

The Flowers

The Springs

The Rain
They Embrace me unconditional

With my Weaknesses

With my strengths

With my Truth

With my Silence

With my Empty hands

When I dissolves in Gratitude  for their existence my creative thoughts are born.

Flash Fiction :WATER

M

Walking slowly looking at the burning  Sun over the head, my throat dry, even the saliva was no help. As I moved forward my thoughts traveled backwards  to   incidences where I had thrown a near full water bottle after coming from school, a half filled glass into the kitchen sink or let the bucket overflow.

Suddenly  I heard the familiar sound and  hurried up my steps. There it was  clear, sweet and sparkling. With tears of gratitude I quenched my thirst. That day I realized the fragility of life.

Bowing, I pledged never to waste even a drop.
