Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.

Each phase of life has its own charm. There is downside also.  Looking back, I enjoyed and have Memories of good and not so good times. But then life just goes on, not in our control. It is not like going to school or college that we have to say goodbyes. As we get older the priorities change and we adapt to the changes.

Life is a river

Constantly flowing

There are no footholds

To stay little longer

Each phase merge into other

And We just move on

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

There are quiet a few if i  make a list, but BUSY would top the list.

In the current times, the conversation usually start with ” I HAVE BEEN BUSY. “As if the earth will vanish if you are not there.  The moment it comes up in conversation,  I feel like putting the phone down or walking away. Nobody in this world is so busy that  you can not call upon friends and family  once in a while.  It is surprising that  when they need something then they have all the time in the world. 

People disconnect your call in between the conversation,  which used to be RUDE once upon a time and then next time they want something opening line is ” I am so SORRY, couldn’t call you afterwards,  as I got so BUSY”

As people are getting more busy, the world is becoming more toxic.

Strike this word from your life for few days and you may experience the gift called LIFE.

The ocean called life                  You are a drop                              When you are gone                      Who would know the loss ?        Only a few                                    Do not make that list shorter        Being BUSY.      |                                                                              

What bores you?

Do not get bored with myself.  It is not necessary to  do something all the time. The notion that one gets bored stems from  the attestation span deficit.   As long as we enjoy  what we are doing, will never get bored.   

I do get bored, when people keep repeating the same topic, especially weather and food

Who are your favorite people to be around?

“Like time people come and go what lasts are the Memories. “

For me , apart from MYSELF, I have a very short list of people  who are on my favorite list.   I can spend hours in their company talking about random to the most philosophical thoughts.   

Deep connections beyond expectations is what it takes to have a beautiful relationship.  Favoritism may be situational depending on your needs, but lasting  relationships are   independent  of need, time or distance.

Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

I am not a shoe enthusiast,  but over the years  had  few which I bought because it looked good when I tried on, but later didn’t wear much because they were either  too tight  or loose.

Today’s prompt brought back those moments of excitement  for me. Still this habit of buying  shoes which may not be comfortable, continues.  I bought 3 recently😃, and wear only 1 of them .

My excitement is because I have shoe size 35, and do not get much variety.

 

  But I  definitely love my  Nike

which takes me to my evening walks  daily

Write about your approach to budgeting.

I love budgeting. Budgeting is a way to have a peace of mind.  It is not necessary  to stick to it in a literal sense, but  helps not to go overboard.  It brings discipline  and order in  one’s life.

I have a very simple outlook on money and related materialistic  life. From your income Spend 50%, save 25% and keep 25% to help others.

Financial budgeting is easy stuff

But budgeting your time and energy does take lot of practice. Still i try to set limit on the  activities like gossip😃, social media, watching TV.  There is no limits to walking, writing or interactions with  very limited relationships which are very  precious to me.

Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?

Not as far as I remember.  But one epidide comes to my mind.  In Jammu, my hometown, few days before Holi festival ( it is festival of color usually celebrated in the month of March), we used to fill balloons  with water. And through at the passerbys from our home rooftop.  If it would hit , was a great sense of satisfaction.   There is no Law as such, but sometimes people used to come and complain to the parents.

Though nobody’s was ever hurt, but I think it was not right . For it was playful and enjoyment,  but getting g wet on the road  is not a comfortable situation.

If there was a biography about you, what would the title be?

“Celebration of a Fearless  Journey”

I may prefer to write an autobiography.  Nobody knows me better then me😃

Not everone  is a writer, but in my opinion everyone should have a biography written in their life time, so that the future generations know  you as an individual.  We has humans are extraordinary beings, each one of us has some stories and experiences to share. 

Last year I published a book on  my mother’s life. It is a tribute  and a recognition of her strong and powerful personality.

If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

Laws should be updated  time-to-time to keep up with the  current situations.  More important is time bound justice to the victims or aggrieved party.  Every Law should have a time limit for conclusion.  Justice system is so slow in most of the countries and it hardly  serve its purpose.  Especially in case of abuse, rape or other heinous crimes.
