Staying together like breath
But never meet, WHY ?

Drop by drop falling Vanishing again unseen
Rejuvenating

My soul drenched in love Every drop seeping slowly
Filling emptiness

You were there, sitting on your bed silently …
Like a bird waiting for Spring
The small hospice room where they put you
Looks like this branch of chestnut tree.
Your withered hands hook in their language
Your attachment to the world, your desire to leave a mark
To the time that goes by, and your words reflect your will
To trust God, who knows your soul.
At 97, you spend days
Far from Italy that you left behind
You’re going to fall asleep in this distant land
Whose language or saints, you don’t know .
Sweet soul, sweet woman, so withered and serene
God was injected into your veins
You radiated kindness and patience
I was learning in silence, a lesson in existence

The sea side window
Flowing chilly winter breeze
Soulmates -ME and I
Fragrance of winter
Longing for mountains silence
Talk to me again
Living in Desert, longing for the Snow-capped Himalayas , held back by what ?
May be destiny

Crisp fresh yet gentle
A moment of winter breeze
Frozen on my face

The Smiles, the happiness, the carefree enjoyment
Love
Flowing like wind
Nurturing like water
Limitless like Sky
Budding and blooming little ones
Today what they are getting
Tomorrow they will.know
The value of these moments
And the selfless Love of their mentors
Some give money
Some give food
Some give materials
But far and few who give TIME
The most valuable and above all
Today Saluting those people
And their mission
“Unconditional, limitless and selfless Spirit of GIVING”

I was wondering does these waves, the open Sky and the wind knows it is Christmas?
They are playing unaware of our situations
May Christmas bring peace, freedom and heal the pain of loosses and turbulence faced during the panademic

Grandma Mrs Chander Ummatt

Grandson Sumer S. Sandhu
This lockdown is an extraordinary situtaion. Face masks, sanitizers, work from home and online education is the new normal.
Help the world has become a new endeavor and virtual world has been choked with all kind of teachings, guidance and knowledge to ease the woes of all. And in the process missing out the immediate surroundings.
On the teachers day (even though bit late on that) I salute the extraordinary GURU in my life- My MASSI (mother’s sister) . When people are running out to save the world, she is quietly working her magic to make things easy for just one little one -her grandson Summer.
Sumeir is just 4 years old, for him online classes and learning doesn’t mean a thing. He is naughty, fun-filled, innocent and playful child. But this society doesn’t care for his dreamy world , for them what matters is piling the syllabus, discipline , homework on to him.
To make life easy for her grandson Chander created such a beautiful and unique concept of learning with a dedication and passion that it just left me speechless. I have dedicated several posts to her, but this is not just a post. It is gratitude for her selfless and loving personality.
Her simple reply humbled me . In her own words

Inside her magic bag
Hidden deep
is
Her love and generosity
Endless
My eyes brim with tears
Gratitude
For her priceless presence ❤
In her huggs resides
my 🌏World

Hurt, anger, stifling
Love wanders in search of Peace
