The first person who helped you to reach where you stand today
Not parents or sibblings or friends – they are the obvious ones
Remember him/her today. And if you have come so far that that one name is eluding you, what does it means ??? Upto you to INTROSPECT

Year to year Time goes quickly What has changes since January
The agony, the fears, the fights Suffering of the weaker ones Nothing has changed much
Pandemic to war What have we gained ? The people uprooted from their homes
It is painful to see unsafe social medias The constant fear of parents Children vulnerable to exploitation
The violence on the streets The insecurities of young girls Has this year allied their fears
Collectively we have to rise To protect and preserve And make difference in 2023
I read a post recently and it was very distrubing. Words have the power to raise our consciousness and compels us to think…

While reading a news about people struck in other countries , their worry not just fear of job losses but the accumulating loans installment and liabilities, it lead to the question “Whose fault” ? While pandemic is an unforeseen situation, but huge debts (which ever forms) is adding fuel to the fire. Isn’t it ?
When so much is being said about the current Situation we are in, it occurred to me would people start to think about their finances from a different angle.
Financial insecurity might be the major issue after the coronavirus, and a major cause of sleepless nights for majority. For the people who have been spending more then their means, is it not their fault ? Loans for cars, homes or marriages etc , credit cards for groceries to travel expense has been norm of the day for modern world.
The people who have lived strictly by their means , may only have one worry “one square meal ” a day for their families. And the one who had saved for rainy days only have to spend wisely.
But what about people with loans and credit card over spending . The banks and financial institutions may have given temporary relief but nobody is writing-off completely. So the pay back time is hanging like a sword.
Is it not the RIGHT time to INTROSPECT and do a few lifestyle changes. ?
SIMPLY…….

We , humans, are creatures of convenience and in that process often get ourselves into unmanageable situations .
How slowly the menace of plastic came into our lives and is now a threat to our very existance. A small example :
I remember as a child we use to take our own bowls to buy milk or yogurt/curd
Then
Came the bowls made of leaves for yogurt
Then
The white plastic bags
Now
The packed containers with plastic lids and plastic bottles
Everyone welcomed the replacements and happy to be saving time (by not waiting in queues)
Relevant to mention here that those milk shops used to be the first meeting point most morning, from exchanging the plesantries to politics to cricket to sharing few laughs and jokes. Fresh morning Air and a morning in the bargin
Today the question is :” Is the damage repairable?
A few suggestions
– we can try to go back making curd at home like our mothers/grandmothers
– using of clay bowls by the mass manufacturer. ( experimental and possible if will is there?
– avoid small packs
