A /एक  ★ Single Power ★ Part -I

A drop of water shakes hand with others,

United they give life to the mother Earth,

Forms the springs, the rivers and the ocean,

Evaporates one by one to form the clouds,

Then pour down in the form of rain,

A drop is what farmer’s hopes are pinned upon,

A drop is sigh of relief for those worried face,

It is also the reason for the loss of precious lives

( farmers suicides are the most unfortunate , and can be avoided if the Government and non-governmet agencies can help them in rain-water harvest techniques. it is not just loss for the family but to the world at large)
A drop of tear shakes hand with others,

And flows in a stream from the eyes,

Sometimes as a symbol of gratitude,

        Sometimes a joy of reunion,

Sometimes as an expression of grief,

        Sometimes flows without any reason,

       Just to cleanse the soul.

A seed grows into mighty tree standing tall,

A grass spreads to form carpet of greens,

A seed gives a fruit delicious to eat,

A flower on barren branch gives it a lease of life.

A storm destroys everything in it’s wake,

A careless word breaks strongest bonds,

A loving gesture mends the broken hearts,

Hate is taking away thousands of innocent lives,

“PEACE” is a word which is striving to survive,

A word has the power to change the world,

So please think what you want to say after the “A”

LOVE-Tender & Strong

M

Precious is the love in all forms,

It is pure, untouched and undiluted,

It is colorless, formless and limitless,

It is fearless, selfless and boundless.

It bind the hearts and the soul,

It gives courage to move ahead,

It is strong enough to face fiery storms,

Have you ever wondered at the same time,

It is so very delicate and tender,

That it can not take the weight,

The weight of deceit or fraud,

It crushes and crumbles at once,

So please handle IT with utmost care.

Distant not so Distant

M

. . .  A glimpse of my world. . .

( Just couldn’t find any frame with all of you, so please forgive me)

There are millions and millions in this World,

A few millions in the country,

A million or so in the State,

A few thousands in the town,

A few hundred in the area,

A hundred or so in the neighborhood,

A few in the same house,

But the one residing in my heart,

I can count on my fingers tips,

They are never Distant from my thoughts,

As they are in my Gratitude list everyday.

LOVE – A BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE

M

A friend shared this.  A monk explains the love, attachments and relationships so beautifully

When people say we love someone, their expectations from the relationship rises. And they feel the other person is duty-bound to fulfill all their desires. They are looking to bind others to them, want them to think their way.

In school time, we used to  trace maps for geography  by using tracing paper, so that we can have exact shape and size. (those days there  was no web to just take a print out). People also expect the same in relationships, especially in marriage and love. They consciously or otherwise want their partners to be like them.

Gratitude – ‘Precious Moments’

M

Today I am posting my 50th thought, this one for my Son Arihant (Twinkle). He gave me one of my most cherished relation – MASSI

Precious moments in my treasure box,

They are my inspiration and memories too,

They are the reason for my gratitude,

When I held him in my arms for the  first time,

The Twinkling eyes filled my heart with love,

His warmth enriched my soul,

Priceless moment out of my treasure box.

MASSI – My Mother

M

Every day we thank our mothers in so many ways but today it being “Mother’s day” is a reminder for us to say it in a special way. For us (Me, my brother Sanjay, and sister (Joy) our Massi is our mother our world. Massi (mother’s sister) means like mother, but she has treated us like her own children and stood by us in each and every moment of our joys and sorrows. In today’s world it is rear to find love so selfless and so profound. No words of gratitude could express what you mean to us.

Her embracing arms are our shelter,

Her soft hands have the healing magic,

Her wisdom a guiding light in our path,

Where would we find love so pure?

It is only in her beautiful eyes.

She said you are never alone,

She said you are part of my world,

She said I am the rock you can lean on,

She said all your sorrows are mine,

She cries when we are in pain,

She Laughs when we are happy,

She said my home is yours,

Where would we find someone like her,

We thank her everyday in thousand ways,

Her being in our life is blessing of GOD,

MAA(mother) represents HIM on this earth,

But in our life HE had send two representatives,

One was our mother and other is our MASSI,

Today is a day to salute her and say Thank you,

For showering us with her unconditional love.

Thoughts your choice – “Peace or Unrest”

M

What I found in the glory of that Sun rise today

Gave me a treasure house of wisdom,

The rising Sun is a signal for activities,

A frantic process of million of thoughts,

Some of them are like new born, soft and tender,

Some are repeated too long to be relevant,

Some give as headaches , others heartaches

Some make us happy , others just sad,

Some are cherished as moments of love,

There are as many reactions as there are thoughts,

It may be alright normally to be thoughtful,

But sometimes a thought or two get struck in our mind,

We deep-fry them constantly on the fire of our anger,

Those are most dangerous ones

As they not only destroy us but also people around us,,

Today we are seeing these fried thoughts everywhere,

Burning and destroying the kindness and compassion,

Bringing in suffering and pain to mankind,

Lets all collectively pray in our own ways,

And spread the thought of PEACE and LOVE in this air.

A day I never celebrated- VALENTINE’S DAY

. “M”

Dedicated to my better half Arun Prabhakar.

Valentine’s day so much hype around a day,

Some may be bestowed with too much love,

While others may feel uncared and not loved,

For me it is an ordinary day,

The rain has made it special,

And my “morning friends” are in a mood to play.

When i think of love it is not just for a day,

It is not in red roses or chocolates or a ring,

It is not holding hands or forever vows,

These are just gestures which may fade away.

For me love is to let other be,

To  let other have the freedom of choice,

To let other have a few thoughts of his/her own,

To let other decide what he/she wants,

To let the other feel partner not a slave or sub-ordinate,

To let the other agree or disagree on the same thought,

To walk apart but together not in front or behind,

To live the love day-to-day in countless ways.

I know I can decide matters minor to major,

I need no permission but just a communication,

That is the Love which only fortunate may have

Yes,  after 17 years of marriage i may not had a Valentine’s day,

But Respecting my individual being is most precious gift,

I get  from him  everyday ,

And it makes my everyday  -“ A Valentine’s day”

P.S.     Trust is the oxygen &  Giving space to each other is the life-line of a relationship.
