TANKA #2 – Simplicity way of life

Where will I find?

The freedom for all to move

Without boundaries

In harmony and at peace

Co-existing Mountainside

Roads are meant for all, not just for vehicles. Humbled by scenes like these, I feel that all is not lost. We are still a sensitive race

HAIKU #79 Natural Togetherness

Welcoming others

They know nature has plenty

Our greed destroying

One of the most humble experience watching these sheep grazing at lush green mountains of Kud. Not once they tried to push each other away. We the so called humans may be the only one always wanting other’s share too.

Tanka #1 Trees – lonely magnificence

My mute companions
Tall,ageless,rooted trees
Silent witnesses
Holding secrets of mankind
Can you please whisper to me?

Dear friends,
Most of the shoots have been captured while moving. From Jammu &Kashmir to Himachal Pradesh the magnificent and ever changing beauty is a treat for eyes. I always think that there may be so much hidden treasures in the trees, which are there for generations to generations. They are intriguing with their shapes and colors. Some naked without the protection of their coverings (the leaves) stand tall and proud in their beauty.

Let’s take care not to destroy them for our selfish use because our life span is just a fraction of theirs. And they are the Symbol of hope and prosperity for human lives yet to come.
