Tanka -Vanishing forests

Standing lost and sad
In the middle of nowhere
Greenery vanished
Here was rich floral forest
Today a cracked barren land

Alcohol and peer pressure

Very well expressed the thoughts of the freshers and what challenges they face. Loved the writer’s message.

HAIKU #109

Simmering dust heat

Perched thirsty birds drying grass

Oh! Summer knocking

Random -Flames of imagination

Flipping through pictures randomly, this caught my attention and imagination too

Looking at the dancing flames

My imagination caught in between

The images being formed

The ever changing flickers

Not letting me decide

What names to give them

So I am leaving it to you

To simply stare at the fire

And enjoy the energy

Or

Try to figure out the mysterious play

A breeze A moment

Today on the walk

Silent breeze

Silently brought the moment

Deeply buried in my memory

A long time ago

A tear and a laughter

Caught my eyes

At the same time

HAIKU # 107 &108

Guns anger blood shed

Humanity edge of fear

Where are we heading ?

—————

Cruelty of few

Destroying peace harmony

A trail of pain left

HAIKU #106 A dilemma

Shimmering vastness

Close my eyes Feel the silence?

Or simply admire?

Random- Walking with myself

When I reflect

There is only me Alone

Walking with myself

With no compulsions

No need to break the Silence

When sand sinks my feet

The wave washes them

The bliss engulf me

That is the perfect moment

Of celebration of Breath

And of SELF
